The blade begins as two steels — 1085 high-carbon for the balance point between edge retention and toughness, and 15N20 nickel steel for resilience and shine — folded and hammered until the pattern surfaces along all ten inches of blade. That pattern isn't etched on for looks. It's the forging itself, made visible — and no two blades ever carry the same one. Hardened to 57–59 HRC, finished with a Damascus bolster forged to match.

The handle is genuine stag antler — crowned texture, natural grip, no two pieces alike — so between the folded steel and the antler, the knife you receive exists exactly once. It carries its 15 inches with the balance a big bowie needs: weight forward enough to work, close enough to control. The genuine leather sheath keeps it on your belt and ages right alongside it.
