While the steel seems sound, and very pretty, the edge came rather dull, but i have been able to sharpen it and it has retained its edge. The sheath it came with is rather useless toe but I liked this knife the best so I purchased it anyway. Also the handle is well made and comfortable in the hand. Overall nice knife for the value. Definitely need to keep it oiled as it will rust quickly.

My order arrived and the knife was not in the box, only the sheath. I contacted Georgia Blades and they said they would send a replacement but I have not received anything yet. My knife arrived yesterday and it exceeds my expectations. Thanks Georgian Blades for your great customer service.
Great design in this blade. The full tang blade is a very desirable feature in all knives I collect. Better balance and more control. Beautifully layered, the blade shows off its unique patterns as a true Damascus steel tool. This knife will travel with me.
I have already honed the blade to my liking. This knife was also a great buy.
