Really happy with the Expedition Emissary Tracker. Rosewood / Rams Horn handle, mine is a slightly lighter color than the one shown in description. Weighted and balanced just right. Grip is very nice. No imperfections. The sheath is a little darker leather than the one shown and love that. Will snap to shoulder straps on backpack for hiking, very happy with my purchase.

Received the knife, beautifully made, intricate scroll work and nice green Camel Bone inlay.
The Damascus blade is nicely sharpened, and the knife had a nice light coat of oil. Great knife Iā€™ll use as everyday carry.

I ordered 3 knifes total. I expected good quality based off reviews I read prior to purchasing. I am very impressed with all 3 knifes and anticipate years of good use from these well made knifes. It's almost a shame to use them as they could easily be considered art! The leather cases are the icing on top!

One thing that did surprise me that I didn't notice in pictures on my nightfall navigator is the raw, unpolished metal with indents in the blade that I assume is for hardening the metal. It sets that knife apart, just beautiful!

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How Do I Wash My Knife?

Hand washing and drying is recommended for all of our knives. This is especially important for Damascus steel knives with high carbon content.

Never put your knife in the dishwasher - extreme heat can damage the wooden handles and dishwashers can damage the edge of the blade.

How Do I Sharpen My Knife?

We recommend using a whetstone to sharpen your knife. The sharpening angle should be 15Ā°.

It is also recommended to use a honing rod frequently in order to keep the edge of the blade straight.

Where Should I Store My Knife?

If your knife came with a sheath or a roll - we recommend to store your knife in them. Please ensure that the knives are dry before putting them inside.

Do I Need To Do Any Blade Maintenance?

Majority of our knives will not require any maintenance except periodic sharpening/honing to keep the blade razor sharp at all times.

Wash and dry the knife after use and avoid leaving moisture on the blade.

We recommend applying mineral oil to Damascus steel blades to help protect against corrosion.
